    Buick 350 Should I?

The biggest thing to me on the Buick 350 is the friend is going to teach me how to rebuild a motor. His friend is the one selling it. Yeah I know the Mopar motor will be expensive to redo but I do like the 383s and anything Ma Mopar has done lol. I did make an offer on a 283 of $250. The guy...

    New Guy Virginia

Thanks and I agree I also love the cab style it lends itself to making a great ride and rod. There is so many ways to go that just looks good with it. The guy called off the deal because I had some parts to trade and he didnt want them and got kind of mad that I offered. The parts are some high...

    V8 in original 26 T frame???

I have been looking at doing a T bucket. I found the dimensions and plans on Tbucketplans.com to make my own frame. Save the frame that it comes with and build a newer frame. You can always go back to the old frame later on and see if its worth doing and keeping. Can't wait to see this project.

No Title & Vin Plate rusted **VA**

What do you mean patent numbers tag? I'm used to cars from the 60s and 70s having a fender tag and having all the info to tell me what the car had and it also had the vin number in it. Cars from the 50s back are really new to me. I have owned one car from the 50s and it was a 1955 Bel Air four...

No Title & Vin Plate rusted **VA**

Ok so I'm looking at a 1942 Ford truck cab that would make a great rod and it would be the one that I would pick to do over my second choice. The trucks cab has the vin plate on it but it is like rusted or sun bleached from being out in the elements for years. What can I do to get a title for...

    New Guy Virginia

Thank you and I need to cruise around the site and see where to start asking questions. I think I will see what I can find in frames. I want to learn more about Z'd frames. I'm thinking if I build a T maybe having a Z'd front frame and not channeling the body of the car. I just need to...

    New Guy Virginia

Hey everyone, I'm kind of new to the scene of hot rod and rate rods, but I have been a gear head all my life. I guess you could say I was born into it with my dad being a body man and always having cars around (new then) to fix. My dad and I used to restore muscle cars and I'm kind of tired of...
