I've got a 1959 Ford f100 that I am thinking about rat rodding. Need to get her lower to the floor. I know I can purchase new uni-leaf springs for $1000 but was wondering if anyone had better/cheaper way to do it. On a side note the new paint was poorly done and she will get a coat of Satin Black.

Hello... I got a 1959 Ford f100 pickup that is about 95% restored. I've got her for sale ($8,000 in Prescott Az). I really want a rat rod project. Of course I could slam the Ford and paint her Satin Black, but feel this would be a waste of a nice original truck. Anyone got any ideas??
