Here's how I did mine I had an old metal table. I took the table leveled it and then built the rails. Then I took the rails and squared them to the table and each other. Took some C-clamps and locked the rails in place. Then I cut some 2x4s and C-clamped them to the front and back to hold the...

I took a break for a bit but I got the center piece welded it in.

Nope just welded the gaps up slowly building it from the inside outward. Going to add bracing to the inner parts of the cab once it's all put together.

Got more done its getting closer. Made relief cuts in the B pillar to get the jamb and cab lined up. Welded it up and grinding it down. Inside jamb done And the outside done just needs some finishing touches.

Well got the welds are grinded down today. Just a little more to do and I should be ready to start the bodywork.

Here's the rear end I just picked up for my build. It's a Ford 9" that has been narrowed 7" with strange axles. I got it for 300 didn't think it was a bad deal at all. Needs bearings and change the gear ratio.

Thanks everyone the chop ended up being more like 5 inches or so. But I'm getting ready to head out into the garage and do some more work on it. I'll post up some pictures later today of everything I get done.

Ok here's an update on the truck. Got the roof cut and now I'm putting it back together. Its been a fun and learning experience for me. This is my first chop and I think its coming along nicely. I ended up going with the mail slot look I really like the look. Well here are some pics. Fitted...

Well guys I'm going to try and get out there and work on it over the next few days. It's just been plain hot as hell here the last few weeks.
