the ANVIL, not just for blacksmiths anymore

Farrier Supply houses are another good place to get them too. Here is a link to one of the first ones I came up with in a search! http://www.farriercorral.com/Anvil-s/1.htm They have 70 and 125's there. Unfortunately, the one my grandfather had at his farm for EVER was stolen about a week...

Top chop on 48-52 Ford Pickup ?

Hey DonMan, I know this won't help you out right now, but Tex Smith wrote a book called "how to chop tops" that is GREAT. It's got about 50 projects in it, with a lot of B&W pics, and I am pretty sure I remember at least 2 F1's being chopped in it. You can get it at speedway motors! WELL...

    Bill Of Sale Only?

I have heard a LOT of people recommend them. They must do a bang up job over there. Good thing, too. I will be needing a "historical document" for the 49 AND the 37!

    Hitting the welding wall. ARRRGH

My little brother welds for Pierce in Wisconsin, making those HUGE fire trucks. He says my welds don't look half bad for a blind chimp using an extension cord with exposed wires and coathangers for rods. I take that as a compliment.

    GM Hot start problems

Yeah, I thought it may have been wired wrong too, but the whole truck has a new painless wiring kit in it, and has been triple checked. Only problem I have is bad grounds on the tail light and I'm just to lazy to fix it the right way. Nothing like going to fill up and getting stuck at the pump...

    28 RPU dimensions

Found this a while back. Maybe someone here can use these measurements. If anyone has anymore, let me know please. I am really thinking about building an A or T from scratch in the future!

    GM Hot start problems

Here is another one that gave me trouble, and the fix that I found out. My truck wouldn't start when it was hot, and I'm told it's because of the headers wrapping right over the solenoid of the starter, making it "to hot" or causing it to "stick". So, after beating my head on the wall for a...

    Plugging trim holes....part 2

Wipe down WELL with all prep and apply a SKIM COAT only of body filler. Sand, sand, sand till you fill in all the little dips like so... Wipe down well with all prep again, and then prime several light coats. Should come out looking like these, or better, haha! Hope it helps! It's...

    Plugging trim holes....pt 1

Not like that.... Ok, since I am going to be on here, gaining knowledge, I guess I should contribute what I can! You gotta give to get back! I heard about this idea on another forum, and even posted pretty much the same tech article on it, but didn't see it here. Thought this may help expand...

    Hello, my name is Jody...

And I'm a Car-a-holic. I see a lot of names I recognize on here as well! I'm here for pretty much the same reasons as everyone else, tired of the BS on some other site. So far this one looks very nice and relaxed. I don't post a lot, and don't know a lot about cars, but, I have jumped in...
