Saw this in a parking lot this summer up in Novato, CA... Sounded as good as it looks.

    Awesome Kids Christmas Present

I was wandering around a toy store the other day, which I haven't done in probably 15 years until I just had my first kid and I came across these: http://www.automoblox.com/automoblox-originals.html These get my vote for best new toy, and I am probably going to pick on e up for myself as...

    Rat Wagon - Radio Flyer

Nice RPM.... Do you have a front view of the steering setup? I eventually want to build a scale drilled I-beam or at least something with knuckles so I can pull my front acle closer to the body, but I am barely finding the time to get this part done without that.

    Rat Wagon - Radio Flyer

Making progress slowly... Trying to figure out how to mount the rear axle, but trying to use an old flat rubber bungee cord as an isolator around the cam journals and using the rods as my trailing arms, and the old piston top as my "pumpkin". I also don't like how the front end is so long, so I...

    Rat Wagon - Radio Flyer

I am pretty sure I stole everything I did from this site or from a link from this site in some shape or form, so pass it on just don't tell the old dude who gave me that wagon for free what I did to it, haha... I hope his kids (now in their 20's) don't come back asking for it Thanks for all...

    Rat Wagon - Radio Flyer

I never got a rat build on here, but I did start this: Trying to get a hold of some connecting rods to attach the rear axle as trailing arms, and an old piston to use as my rear "diff". Would be really cool to throw some bearings on the rear camshaft axle and hook up the old oil pump shaft to...

    Radio Flyer Mini I-Beam

I have seen some really cool wagons on here and other forums, and decided to start one so I can have it ready for my son in time for his 1st birthday and July4th parade next year. I have been looking for a way to build a mini I-Beam front axle so I can suicide it our front, and I think I...

    Looking for a build thread...

Those are all "Sick" and "slick", but I was looking for CORPO's! I am actually going to take a break from my rat to design/build a rat radio flyer for my son and I was looking for some frame ideas. He is only 2 weeks old, but he'll be the coolest 6 month old on the block when I get done with...

    Looking for a build thread...

I have been searching for an hour at work here, and I can't find the thread I am looking for. All I remember is that there was a guy that built tons of sick custom brackets for everything, and had a really sick front suspension setup. Anyone know what I am talking about?

probably one of the cooler things ive seen in a while

When I was trying to figure out what kind of rear axle I had on my Ford, I found out I had a "Dana 53" but no one had ever heard of it or where it came from... And wouldn't you know it, the next week at good guys in pleasanton, ca I ran into a guy with an identical Jeep Truck fully restored...

What's the easiest way to strip my truck down to bare metal???

OK, that's fine for me, but what about where else the dust goes and the cleanup? What do you do with your clothes afterwards, and what about other people around? My garage has my washer/dryer in it and my neighbor is about 20 feet away if I do it in the driveway... It just seems...

What's the easiest way to strip my truck down to bare metal???

Sorry if I am hi-jacking this thread, but safety is important to me these days so I am not doing something stupid that will come back to haunt me later in life: I don't know what year your truck is, but I have a '47 ford pickup and I am wondering with all this sanding going on, do these...

    can residual valves "go bad"?

FYI: The speedway prop valve is a wilwood prop valve with a sticker over the wilwood logo... I just got one a few weeks back and peeled off the speedway sticker to paint it black, and saw wilwood cast into the main body ;-)

Registering a scratch built Rat Rod in Calif

Evintho: I would like to believe that as well, and that is ultimately where I have tried to get myself mentally, but every once in a while when I read a thread like this, I get discouraged from putting another cent or minute into getting on the road. And it makes me really mad that the PO...

Registering a scratch built Rat Rod in Calif

I agree, that's what I would have done if I had known at the time i Never would have transferred the title into my name when I bought it, paid taxes and legally registered it, but I now have it registered in my name and everything... I don't think I can just "unregister" it and then call it...

Registering a scratch built Rat Rod in Calif

Sorry if this is a hi-jack of this thread, but I have another question about this exact topic: I know the ignorance claim doesn't work now, but at the time I bought the car, I really had no idea that this would be a problem, since it had a title, plates and clean VIN and seller told me it...

Engine Rebuild -> Tune -> Sit

I "refreshed" my first engine (early 70's dodge 360) by pulling it all apart, cleaning everything, replacing gaskets, and rebuilding the carb. To my surprise, it actually started and I was running only water because I didn't want to dump anti-freeze everywhere just in case, and luckily I did...

    1949 Bentley Boattail Speedster

Awesome Boattail Nice work PA41! I think this was James Hetfields '36 Auburn Roadster that was built by a guy around the corner from me... I took this a few months ago at the Good Guys Car Show in Pleasanton, CA... Thought it might help inspire you this weekend.
