This thing started with the cowl from a 30 dodge coupe that was found rusting in the woods so I thought I try to build a woody out of it. I started on it a couple of years and then things stalled for a while but it's time to get on this thing again.

FANTASTIC! I'll be watching this one!

What's the plan for it? Engine? Transmission? Steering?

LOVE the dual cowl vents! :)

Thanks guys, I got a rear from a 2001 chevy pickup with 373 gears and a locker with disc brakes, the front is a 46 axle with disc and split wishbones. The motor is a 472 Caddy that I'm making a 4 duece intake with a 60's style scoope and making the headers to dump out at the bottom of the cowl and a turbo 350 behind. A buddy of mine is a cabinet man and is making the side panels and also making a pair of surf boards styled after the long boards of the ol days of surfing.

I'm in! Love the windshield frame. It would look good with a bunch of button head screws around it. Also, nice work on the intake. Looks killer all around![P[P

Thanks guys, I'm havin a good time building this. Got a little more done on it. Mounted the master cylinder on the outside of the cowl and mounted the booster on the inside of the cowl, then made and hung the brake pedal from the brace for the booster, everything was tight but it worked out great. Just got to make the foot pad but I'll do that when I make the gas pedal.

Nice work WBB. Did you heat that with a torch or do you have a forge. Kinda looks like you might be into blacksmithing.

You are correct sir, I'm kind of a blacksmith/artist/fabricator but my wife has some other names for me that we won't get into. This is the shift lever I made for it.

Nice hot hammer work on the shifter. I have all the pieces but still need to get my small propane forge together. [;)
