Step 1
gotta have a body to build a car

here's my new 1930 pick up cab in all it's glory
cozy seat springs,hyper extended door,old sheet metal roof

My buddy Gale in Monte Vista and I did some trading,glad to have
the new project.

scored a nice built early 283 of C-list.

Step 3) transmission
bought a turbo350 tonight.
nothing to exciting to look at so far,
stay tuned..fun is around the corner..

Step 4) chassis
I know a guy who knows a guy,made a phone call
and got my frame done.
Step 5) I was planning on taking a bunch of pictures
but I didn't.
Installed motor trans,dropped axle front,split bones,40 brakes
moc up rear end for now..
before nightfall clicked off a couple pic's
(see the 7 fin vette covers! )

remove stock floor.
need to trim firewall to trans area for clearence

step 7)

fixing the bed..
and reinforcing..
figuring out mounting..not finished yet.

2x4 as a temp.brace.
going across the back with some 12 gauge
C channel I had left over from another project.
no fancy tools in home garage,5" grinder with cut off wheel
favorite tool for fitting..got it close enough.
