And getting the real tires and wheels mounted today

got the new tires mounted up
5.00x16 ribbed Firestones up front
7.00x16 Firestone deluxe champion in rear
original Ford steel wheels painted up all nice.
Will be running 1940 trim rings and caps

I noticed that you are using those little clevis pins on your rear suspension:eek:....I used those once on a 36 chevy truck build and I broke 3 of them from stress under power:eek:...I don't think that they are heavy enough for rear four bar setup and you should probably use a rod end instead..imo..nice build otherwise[cl
 
rat fink,I use the ladder bar set up on my chassis' all the time.
Made in the USA,seen cars go 10 seconds with em.
Not a issue.

GRB, the heads are 1958 staggered bolt,block is a 1958 too
has the side mounts.
