I have a 1936 ford truck. I'm trying to change the brakes from mechanical to hydraulic in the rear. It has a stock banjo in it. What years are compatible for this year?? Thanks

You should be able to use any of the Ford hydraulic brakes from 1940 thru to 48.
Use all the compoments from backing plate to drum.
It is all available new or scour the auction site for some.
Be carefull buying used drums as these drums were thin to begin with and most used ones are past the point of turning safely.
Hope this helps.
Torchie.

Thanks. I found a front and rear end out of of a 1936 car that had hydraulic brakes and the drum was for a big 5 wheel that I was looking to use. Looks like I'm good to go.

Thanks
