One of the baddest looking cars i ever saw was one of these lowered in the front, raised in the back, super wide whites on black wheels. It had the effect of making it look about 2 feet shorter. Kind of cartoony just the way i like them.

I like it a lot. (Just a bit partial to the P15 tho.) I might drop the front, leave the back alone. There's still some old school intakes & headers around for those sixes. Or you could even go with a slanter.

more recent

so here are some pics of the car over this past summer

and on a side note still loloking for those taillights for this thing and also need a hood ornament tring to debate weather or not to eliminate all the trime or throw it all back on ? the great debate

Looks like you have a very good start the rockers and the area behind the door look solid. Love a good P15.

One suggestion was to go with a slant 6, think twice before jumping into that swap. The slant 6 is a full 7 inches longer than the flathead and you will need a big shoe horn to get it in there.

Here are a few photos of my 48 coupe.

so

got the radiator installed on this thing recently and got it running again and threw some alumaseal into the radiator to fill the tube leaks there were only two small ones so hopefully it does the trick i also got the thing started again i pulled the headlinner out and now i am at a stand still just sitting back and getting a feel for this car again i really dnt know which way i wanna go with it and i am leaning more towards originall everything and hkestes i really want to know were you got the header or dual manifolds and the intake from are they repop or old school are they custom or one off please more info on those i really like the looks of the 48 will post more as it comes to me and srry no pics

I got my headers and intake from Langdon's Stovebolts http://stoveboltengineco.com/. The headers are repops, the intake is an offenhauser.

I got the head from Edgy Speed Shop http://edgyspeedshop.com/ Earl is now doing dual intakes as well which he did not have when I bought mine. He also regrinds cams.

Reds Headers has tube style headers if you want to go that direction. I wanted the more old school look of the cast iron headers.
