Look Ma, no jack stands

Got the brackets welded on for the running boards. Tomorrow I take the boards over to friend to get dusted off (sand blasted) and primed, possibly get box liner on them too. Put a gusset on the brackets and I can mark that off the list.

Very good

You'll be glad you've taken so many pics of your build. It is especially handy later as references..in my case anyway that's how it works!
Your work looks to be well thought out and has a professional look to the finished end. Keep that up and you'll be able to drive that beast wherever.

I ended up replacing my radiator with a Champion off the bay. The overflow tube broke off right at the filler neck. Knowing what radiator work costs around here it was the best choice.

The lower hose is 1 3/4" OD. A molded hose looks right.

I found this Gates hose to do the job. For my application I trimmed 8 1/2" off one end and 1" off the other.

I have been trying to get the doors fit and having a hell of a time. The inspection/lower hinge bolt covers needed a little work so I diverted my attention. Some of the screws snapped off and a vice grips twisted them out the back side. Two were impossible to get to and one had the nut missing.

I put in a 1/4" x 20 riv-nut

Wow, 15 months since an update. Tonight I put the rear glass in from the original black cab. My brother had it etched in the 90's, no matter how rough I handled it I couldn't break it. Too cheap to have a new piece cut too.

Tomorrow I go to look at a 29 model A rpu as a possible trade for this. Starting to doubt that is going to happen. Pretty sure I will be driving this in the spring.

Found out one of the local parts stores will mix paint and put it in an aerosol can. I had them make up a can for $18. Also picked up some gray hammered for the dash and trim parts. Tried it on the dodge with good results.

I cut the deteriorated windshield rubber out and painted in the opening.

Painted the filler neck while I was at it. Had to take it of to seal a couple pinholes.
