Next I fabricated a frame that go's from the back of the cab to the front axle.
Tabs welded to rear of sectoin to weld rear portion of frame on to. It was easyer for me to get under cab that way.

Then on to the rear frame section and supension. I mounted the cab to the frame and leved it out. Then welded a 17" kick up rear frame section. Fabricated a 4 link set up and cross piece with a spring plate and spring brackets. Still need shock mounts.

On to the inside. The floor was pretty bad . So new floor pans. A tunnel for the drive shaft. And a tunnel section welding the floor pans and firewall all together. Will finish tunnel when I get a shifter hopefully next week.

Then yesterday I mocked it up and rolled it outside for the first time. Also made some motor mounts. Wanted to get good look at it in the sunlight.
To see if I wanted to change anything before I go any farther. Will post updates when I get more done.

looks good. You anticipate the front coming down to level once the motor is set in?

maybe its just me... but that second frame pic concerns me.. i would like to see more material around the hole.. I generally get a washer for the size hole im going to use and make sure there is at least that much material around the hole...

But i find i generally overbuild...

I think the overall look of the truck is awesome.. keep it up

I kinda thought the same thing but if you look at the pic it looks like the plate is 1/2" thick or closer to 3/4". I think it will be fine as the major forces are fore and aft which is absorbed by the width of the plate. Just my $.02
