Talk about off topic!

I bought a used 2005 F150 and the A/C recirculate function doesn't seem to work. A/c is cooling but when you press the recirc button, nothing happens.

I just want to find where the actuator is and replace or just manually rig recirculation door in the recirc mode, as we run A/c down here all year round.

Searched the net for hours, can't find a pic anywhere!! :(

Any ideas? Thanks

Do you have the automatic climate control or manual???

I'm trying to get you a wiring diagram, but here is what I can get you right now:

Air Inlet Door
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the RH lower instrument panel insulator (if equipped).
Remove the junction box cover at the RH lower A-pillar, if necessary.
Remove the 3 air inlet mode door actuator screws.
Disconnect the air inlet mode door actuator electrical connector.
Remove the air inlet mode door actuator.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

I sent you an email, I can't post the wiring diagrams here as they are too large to post, the pdf file size limit is too dang small I think...

If you didn't get the email I tried to send you through the RRR board, email me at [email protected] and I'll forward you the pdf files for the climate control.

Awesome! Many thanks!

It's the electronic but I think even the manual uses the electric actuators now. That pic is what I'm looking for, just need to know where that is under the dash and how to get to it.

Fingers crossed it's not a 10 hour job
