29 fordor build

This is the start of my build posts. I'm a newbie so tell me what i'm doing wrong. Started frame. Lots of work cutting holes, welding and grinding front piece in frame. Taking weekend off.
Finish frame next week and start looking for rear end and 350
power plant.

what transmission? auto or stick?
if auto a 700R4 is a good choice. good milage and still have all the fun of low gears[cl

You're building a Ford & looking for a Chevy power plant (unless you meant to type 351), you're doing it wrong.



Sorry, I'm always a fan of keeping a vehicle w/in brand.
That said, I also think it's cool when folks build total mutts with hardly any 2 parts originating from the same manufacturer.

Carry on & I'll go back to my web-ratting until such time as I free up the garage space, garage time & garage funds to do something other than drool over everyone else's builds.
