292 y-block v8

found a 292 Y block today at the junk yard in a 60 ford galaxie.
anyone looking for one?
I could get the engine and tranny for like 300-350

What tranny? If it has a 3 speed overdrive the tranny is worth snagging. Y blocks are cool and speed parts are cheaper than most other 50s engines but they don't have a huge following and don't generally bring much.

Y blocks are just cool, overlooked for the most part, engines. They are gaining popularity now that people are starting to use alternative engines. I like em.
