30 Chevy juice brakes

I heard that 53-54 Chevy brakes fit on my original axle, but I need clarification. Are they from the truck or the car of those years, anyone? I got a free Ranger rear on its way for the Hot-Rod conversion. Just starting to gather parts now for winter project. Thanx guys for any help for front brakes on my original axle.

Nope, only up to 50 as far as I know and I am speaking truck. Car may be different but I am not sure, I doubt it though as there was not much difference back then.
