305 V6?

anybody messed with these? played around on the net and found a bit on them, but not much. Big boat anchors but different, most came in chev truck with truck 4 speeds, can a car 4 speed be put on? Would really like a auto but looks to rare for parts?

they came in 1ton and bigger gmc trucks, i don't know if the bolt pattern is the same as the reg. chevy/gmc patterns. made alot of torgue, i knew a man that had one in a log truck that would pass the v8 trucks on the hills, but on the flat ground the v8's would pass him, slow but strong.

Sorry to tell you but those old V6's were slugs, not worth messing with it. The reason you couldn't find much info is nothing available for a qenuine boat anchor!
