37 chevy,49 ford,50 chevy 3 builds

Well guys I got rat fever bad !!!!
Bought 3 rods today going be a busy winter
Let's start with the 37 chevy turret truck I got
Got bed,and came with a shortbed s-10 frame
This an old military truck
Any one ever seen one of these??

Had to make a stop almost ran out of gas on the way home lol

Got home finally 5 hour trip

Second rod
1950 cab very solid good corners and floor
Was local spotted it at a body shop and had to get it
This one will be for my second son he is 12
Bringing home Saturday

Going to head to tenn pick up tomorrow night
Actually bought two 49 from this guy
One for me one for my cousin so got to make two trips

I don't mean to be a buzzkill but the year on the chevy cab is off. 39 or up to 46, 36-38 had two body lines that ran across the back of the cab and doors and joined into one body line on the cowl.

Only glanced at the pics, so I assumed turret top cab meant like some people call the 40's coupe rounded tops 'turret tops'. Had to go back and see what E-man was asking about. Doh! You really meant turret top! Interesting.

Out on the road picking up 49 ford truck

Got hold of a military restore place in cal.
He said was a 2 ton truck gmc. Still not for sure year
On the front window it opens only with a latch there is not a place for the roll out handle

Said they buy before I get started on it
