'39 Ford Truck

This truck was originally put on consignment with us as a roller; we bought it - here's the progress:

This is how it looked when we got it

It now has a black steering wheel and bench seat - after a few days of fighting with the tranny, the shifter is finally in

351 Cleavland

Starting point of the hood we're fabricating - thinking about keeping the bare metal - would love some opinions!

To my dismay, no more blue

We're playing with accent color ideas - would love some opinions!

Here's the passenger door without the red stripe

And that's where we are. John's out there now working on the hood. We're hoping to have it road ready by the first of next week!

Any opinions or suggestions about the hood and red stripe (or anything else on the truck) would be greatly appreciated!!

Very nice truck. I like the idea of the accent line but the red and black combo is just overdone. I think matching it to the wheels would look great.

Yep! I think if he put red lines on both doors with EVERYTHING else on the car being black, it would just feel random and out of place. IMO doing the seat, steering wheel, wheels, and the rest of the interior black was kinda overkill.

I ran the Harley orange idea past the guys and they loved it! They're gonna talk to the boss, so we'll see

The exhaust is on!

The hood is finished! - He decided on black instead of keeping the bare metal

All that's left is a little fine tuning! And to decide on accent colors

All Finished!!

The '39 Ford is all finished! John decided to stick with all black. Dennis Hamlin is interested in buying it for his son. So, unless Denny decides he wants something different, it'll stay that way. We're taking it to them to check out the finished product when they get back from Phoenix
