42' Dodge pickup

Well I havent posted on here in way to long. Been busy unfortunetly.
But heres a quick read though of my build...its my first build Ive ever done, and definitley not the last, im only 21, so I have plenty of time left I hope...

Started off with this nice piece...

It was a 42 Dodge cab, that was a Navy convoy truck...sittin on a 47 chassis. I sold the chassis and front end...

Then I got some blades out...

Started buildin a new chassis...

In the meantime I picked up a grill shell from a 27 Dodge Bros. A steering box from a 60's Mopar...a Chevy 406. And some other things.
Started looking like something...

Then took her into work one weekend and added some color..

And this is what its lookin like now..

Im now just waiting on my driveshaft, and the guy thats welding my pabst keg into my gas tank. But hopefully, Im going to take it on a test ride this weekend if all goes well.
Im working on getting it all titled now too.

But thats about it...hope it all works, and I hope you guys like it. Ill try to get on here more often!

Been a while since ive been on here...heres some good pictures a kid I know took of the truck last fall.

Since I havent posted on here in a while...
some updates...

truck runs awesome...and I drive it as much as i can..which isnt much unfortunetly. But its getting some miles.
I swtiched away from the chain driven steering setup and now have shafts and joints...just to make it a little tighter.

And...Im actually trying to sell the truck...because I am ready for a new project..and have something in my head and I know it wont get out until I build it. [
