The first "car" I ever bought on payments, and the best truck I ever owned was a silver blue '46 Chevy pickup. 235 with the crash box, granny gear, crank out windshield, etc, = bone stock. I think I paid $750 for it and drove it for 8 wonderful years in the '70s and into the '80s up and down the Pacific Coast Highway and all over California, Oregon and Washington. One of those I never should have sold and wish I could have back again, and can probably never afford ...
I actually think that one would look better fender less. It's too short for the fenders, they look too fat to me. Not crazy about the bow tie rear window, either.
