Its time to let someone else enjoy my Plymouth coupe. Have only moved it to mow around for the last year. it deserves to be used.
Body is on a 90 Dakota chassis, power rack & pinon steering, disc front brakes, 10" drum rear (brakes are all good).
Has a 3.9 V6 throttle body fuel injection.
5 speed OD manual trans. Almost new clutch kit.
3:55 limited slip Dodge 8 1/4 rear end.
5 lug painted steel wheels with older 225 75 R 15 tires, tires look great.
Road proven great driver
Painted in 2018 hand painted number, vinyl lettering on the trunk lid can be easily removed. Looks like a race car on the season opener night. rough round the edges, looks good from 10' away.
Has a split 60/40 seat with a fold down arm rest. Driver side door window has 1 crack in it, the rest of the glass is good.
New battery last spring. Ready to cruise, drive it home without concerns. Can take more pictures, anything you want to see.
Asking $8,000 Price may be negotiable if you are standing here looking at the car.

Did you build it? If so, just wondering if the unused original parts are still around, or long gone. (I have a 46 Sedan, and I'm missing the shift lever and some other parts of the steering column. Also missing the hand brake mechanism - the part that mounts on the left kick panel.)

I built the car , first driven in 2012. Any parts that were still good and I didn't use (not many, the car was pretty much just a shell), were sold or given away a very lone time ago.

There is a built thread on the car on this site titled (My 49 Plymouth coupe build). Have no idea how didn't catch that I put the wrong year in the title of the thread.

Seeing the pictures, I would have just thought it was a first series 49 P15. (I have a 2-door sedan P15 that is a 49.)

The bottom 6" of the body where it originally curved outward was cut off the passenger side of the car, and was rotted to almost nothing on the driver side. Rather then try to hand form the replacement sheet metal to match the missing original tin, I just opted to make the new bottom straight, and add the "nerf" bar to the fenders at those kick outs. That was much easier and it added to the look I was after.
The 1st picture is what the passenger side of the car looked like the day we were loading it onto my trailer.

This 2nd picture is the driver side after the thin metal was removed, before the new metal was added. The pile of suspension pieces laying on the ground was all salvaged from the original rotted out frame and all went to a guy that was restoring a car, I believe I sold him the entire pile for $20 knowing it was going to be used. Nothing good went to waste.
