Decided to finally tackle the interior.

Previous owner had welded in new floor panels, but welds were globby and huge. I spent around 7 hours grinding to make floor somewhat flat, and then covered a large hole that had been cut in the rear floor.

After grinding and bedlining for sound deadening and to prevent rust.

Yes, Snopro, my rapt attention was jerked sideways with the SBC, but I have to become more mature sometime, because I have a '55 Merc with a small block Dodge in it and a project '50 Ford with a-----a-----a----SBC in it.
Wouldn't a nice Y-block look really neat stuffed in there?

Nice floor work Almighty. I have been toying with that idea for a down draft setup you have there. I like the look. How would you stop the rain from getting in them?
