Well built a frame(my first) so I hope it works ok. Have the front-end mounted up now I have to figure out how to do the rear. I have the rod ends and DOM tubing to build a triangulated 4-link. Anyone have ideas on brackets? What's the best way to square up the rear-end? Also have to figure out how to attatch the rear coilovers.

Thanks Snake, still not sure how much of the hood I'm gonna leave and not sure about the sides yet(my masking tape work may not hold up:D) As far as lights I'm probably gonna use the dietz style lights in the Speedway catalog. May also get some small motorcycle turn signals that match the style of the headlights.

Hey WillieRat

Any new updates on that awesome truck you are building??? I have a very soft spot for those old trucks. Please keep us in the loop with any new progress with lots of pics if you can.

Thanks Mike, due to a lack of $$$$ and an abundance of annoying deer flies:mad: and gnats progress is slow. Need some help figuring out a steering system! I made my frame too narrow and the engine is set into the cab so far that I haven't much room for pedals and steering! The frontend is set up with a cross steer spindle but I'm open to changing to a traditional with a bolt on steering arm of some sort. One problem is that the frame rail is right where the steering shaft needs to come through the floor:eek:. Any ideas?
