Lol when I hauled my 50 chevy home everyone came out to say how big of a pos it was I opened the door and my black lab lily jumped in and I had to drag her out she loves that truck for some reason nice truck and welcome to the forum

yea we painted it before we figured out you ain't supposed to. but the rust is already bleedin thru so don't panic soon it'll be a rusty tan.i didn't prep it any,it's still ratty.how you like the hood and grill combo,i know it ain't exactly what i was after.but it will do for now.

Like the hood/grille. Good lines and a llittle different. I think it is better than just "for now".

got the windshield in the shop,made it out of lexan,wanting to do a little chop job before i put real glass.tryin to get it drivable,i want to cruise.

i felt like it HAD to have the hood, so i like it, naturally

and i had contemplated a chop top, but just didn't get around to doin it (or chickened out one or the other)

man this really makes me want to go start another RAT!!!!

did you & "slopoe" know each other or what--
him & his brother seemed to be nice folks when they came and got that thing--mustang/ford fans fer sure....

yea,slopoe lives about 10 miles from me.i've know him about 3 or 4 years,super good guy.he's more of a drag racer too.he's a ford guru.i'm more of a chevy guy,but i love that 403 olds motor,ton of torque.i had a 79 trans am,back in the day,man i loved that car.good choice on the motor,this thing will melt the back tires.

guys i'm really slow.got a little more done.been a long cold winter here,just now getting spring fever.been really busy trucking and i bought a 74 nova like i had when i was 16,so i have been side tracked on it.heres a couple new pics today.
