56 Gmc/Chevy Bumper Question

Was wonderin what the main difference between the GMC and the Chevy truck front bumper were. I mean I can see the obvious that Chevy has the smooth hood and the GMC has "GMC" in the hood but I have seen alot of variations on the bumpers? Anyone got all the answers? Also I would trade my 56 buick front bumper for the truck bumper(the big mama) if anyone is interested.
