65 f100

[Locamino]

recently traded a 64 EL Camino kustom for a 65 f100 kustom..
f100 came with a motor/tranny setup, caked in grease and recently pulled out of an econoline.. im currently throwing it in, have had many problems, but should be running soon..

still need to set up the linkage for the tranny, got any ideas? c4 auto

got a 15 g VP race fuel drum as a fuel tank, its strapped down decent enough, but at some point ill need to install and float sending unit... any ideas?

im new to the forum life so not sure who will actually read this..

oh yeah -- and have you checked speedwaymotors.com - theyve got some sending units/floats for around 25$$ that might work

welcome to the site! we read 'em, and them we ask for pics--it's what we do

depending on your plans, i'd prob suggest a universal floor shifter for your app. --unless the truck was equipped with an auto before it would be alot cheaper to put a floor shifter in than to try to change a cloumn just to get a shifter w/linkage and all...

i've got some experience w/those old fords, have a 66 myself-had it for 20 yrs (since high-school) anyways, there are alot of guys here that have tinkered w/ those trucks and i'm sure you will find this place as helpful as i did when i joined
