We have a 4wd Dodge Duallie with a Cummins :

Anybody ever do this and how low can it get?
 
Cool combo. Lookl like the rat wrecker that has had a lot of pictures taken of it. But it was 2 wheel, and an old motorhome.
I like the looks of a build like that.
 
4x4 and low? Cake and eat it too?

The problem I'd see with a way low functional 4x4 Rat is the front diff and driveshaft. You'd either have to box a pretty good sized rectangle in the crossmember(s) to allow for clearance of the shaft due to suspension flex, or raise a divorced t-case to allow the shaft to go up and over the frame, front end would have to be suicide, and diff offset to one side pretty far to clear engine. By no means impossible, but awful expensive IMHO.
