Sounds like he is still in business. I found his phone number and gave him a call. Didn't talk to him personally but in a recorded message he did state that I reached Cathcart Studebaker ( shop was closed because it was late when I placed the call). Anyway his number is 860-564-5852. Just make sure you call during Eastern Standard Time . Good Luck...
