So I guess this one still has the questionable front end on it. I sure like the look of the overall truck. Was it still a 1/4 eleptical with no arms to locate the front end? Or has it been changed?
Those are some awsome rides you got to see Russty,
All the pics I posted were all shiney paint and plush interrior. They were all cool, but I like yours better, I think.....
Inked Monkey I dont rember the routing of the radiator hoses but I did watch that car and a few others come down the street and drive into the show. Requirements for that show were '65 and older and must be driven to the show.
Russty,
That looks like a kool show... wish I had gone! This is my fav (a truck... duh)! Thanks for posting!
I also have a story to relate. At a recent show I talked to a friend that was @ The Lone Star Roundup in Austin with his *very* chopped coupe. For those that don't know... Austin is in the hill country. My buddy said it was kinda spooky drivin' the hills in a chopped car like his because you could see right in front of you but could *not* see very far ahead so u were sorta drivin' blind. We don't have that prob here in H-town... *totally* flat!

I liked that four banger, took me a minute to realize that engine up front was also a VW. I was looking forward to hearing three pot offy but was pressed for time and couldn't hang around as long as I wanted.

I agree that front end looks like it would have a mind of its own on bumpy roads. I've been in Hewitt almost 17 years now, next time your visiting family I'll buy you a beverage of your choice if you have time.

That truck had a mean stance, I liked it too. Did ya notice the frame was sporting shiney purple paint? I added a pic of the hood ornament on that truck. Kinda reminds me of a song by meatloaf, like a bot out of .............. well ya know.
