Betty Page (53 Bel Air)

Hello Ana here.... Picked this 53 Bel Air up about 6 months ago. Didnt do much under the hood, runs and drives just fine. Gave her a tune up, new quarter panels, added 2-3/4" blocks in the rear and cut the front springs. Now I am just tring to find the time to finish her paint job.... Gota drill some holes in the new quarter panels and build myself an air cleaner..... Nice to meet you guys at RRR

About the grill........ I think I might make something up custom, I like it too, but I'm sure there are a few thousand of them out there and I want a grill thats unique to my car. Drew up this concept a while back.... going to use some twisted square bar and some really kewel crome twisted 1" solid steel bars.....

Neat Bel Air! I had one of those when I was 17, dropped it a bit, swapped in some '54 tail lights cause I liked them better, and added some more teeth in the grille. I like your grille drawing and I'm a sucker for scallops Is that your little one driving? Start'em young I say [cl[cl

Indeed that is my little helper, going to be 2 in a few months! He loves anything with a moter in it just as much as his mom does

K got the green scallops painted. Very disapointed to see the fine line tape took some of my brown with it when removed :/ Oh well, I'll touch it up and stripe the edge's. Next step paint inside crome strip on rear quarter panels....

Its been a while! things have been moving right along! got my glass installed a few weeks ago, liscenced her 2 days ago and DROVE HER TO WORK TODAY
What a good feeling. She is very unfinished! but as close to street legal as I feel safe for now. The rest will come with time [
