body bushings

so are you guys running body bushings or just bolt the cab straight to the frame i really need some ideas here?

I've done it both ways and frankly, I really don't notice any more vibration transfer without the rubber mounts than I do with them. Some say that they have had body seems crack due to running without rubber mounts.

Sometimes we use round rubber ones that we pickup at the local 4 x 4 shop. They use them on Jeeps between the body and frame and they are about 2 inches in diameter x 3/4 inch thick, and they have about a 1/2 inch hole through the center. Very cheap too, like $ 1-$2 each.

Sometimes I just use those rubber fender washers that come in various diameters and hole sizes. Even ACE hardware has a drawer with them in it.

I have friends that did they're 4x4 body lifts with hockey pucks, they last forever.

Use rubber if you do, and pu tthe rubber on the top and bottom of the frame mount. Isoltes the body more. Poly is too stiff IMO, and still transmits a lot of vibrations.
