ok i got a brass top radator out of a 62 caddy im workin on im polishing it out do i need to use a sealer on it to keep that polished look or will it be fine.. it doesnt need to be award winning but i hand sanded it all out so i wanna get this right haha thanks fellow rats[cl
 
Years ago I polished a large brass boat propeller that we built into a coffee table. After polishing it I shot it with clear Imron to keep the shine, and it lasted for many years without tarnishing. Don't know how well the Imron would hold up on a brass radiator. I use it on engines but first shoot it with epoxy primer, which would not give you the finish you are after.

Yes I would clearcoat it, anything other than stainless steel or gold will tarnish pretty fast.
