Pate Swap Meet hasn't been the same since it moved to TMS. Back when it was on 377 at the former Pate Museum property it was WAY cooler. Used to go every year, it was better than Christmas.

There's also the LaGrave field swap meet that's two or three times a year and the Greenville TX swap meet isn't that bad either.

Here's a list I found. http://www.oldride.com/events/texas.html

Good site!

Not to jack the thread, but one of the biggest swap meets on the west coast is also having a circus going on at the same time. Knocking out 700 (a wag) vender spots. Portland has had this for over 40 years. bringing People from all over the world that spend lots of money. They don't come to to be entertained by clowns.
Sorry I don't know how to get info on all car events in one place. We have a free magizine here called Drive. It usually list up coming events. Available at auto part stores, doughnut shops ect,

When I lived in Texas I always kept The Taillight King's website bookmarked because he had most of them. Here it is http://www.taillightking.com/
You are in an awesome area for swap meets. Decatur has one of my favorites. Pate is good but just too big to cover in one day. Chickasha Oklahoma as at least 3 real good ones every year and one is only prewar stuff. Also Canton has a few a year, and although they are smaller they can be pretty good. They have them in the First Monday pavilions so it is a great facility.
Greenville (pronounced greenvl for us yankees, lol) is a nice little swap and they have golf carts running to take all your stuff to the car, nice touch.
