That is quite a club! Love the '57 Ford Sedans [dr I've always wondered what happened to all the '57 Fords :confused: If you look at production numbers there were approx. 145,000 more Ford cars/wagons made in 1957 than there were Chevy cars/wagons........yet if you go for a Sunday drive you hardly ever see a '57 Ford but you can hardly swerve without hitting a '57 Chevy [S Go figure?

What a great group of cars there!

On the ford thing I think its about popularity, even though more were sold, the tri-five chevys are just more popular, and probably easier to get parts for, and less expensive to restore...
 
That's a great group of cars. A factory Ford mechanic told me that the reason 57 Fords are not seen much today is the fact that Ford treated the raw material with some compound that made them rust prematurely.
