I use to have a buddy that lost his #1 and #2 right hand fingers to a V Dub belt setup. They cut out the bases of the missing fingers in his palm, and he had this lobster claw looking thing--it was real functional---just looked like an alien hand.

I have 5 Bugs and 1 Ghia and I wont try that. One slip and it would hurt a lot longer than it would take to do it correct.
