There is about 5 inches or one valve cover in the cab. It sits back just like it did in the Dodge 2500 truck. My plan was to have it about three inches less but it fit better like it is now.I used the original throttle cable to cut the fuel off and kill the engine. The steering shaft came out of a Dodge 1500.It was the correct length to use the original steering shaft connected to the Chevy steering box.The Dodge power steering pump lines bolted right up to the Chevy pump also.

I found a dually axle today at my favorite place to shop the junkyard.I bolted the bed to the frame today and started building the framework to add the wood inside the bed.The exhaust is finished up to the stacks.I'm going to wait until I chop the cab to add the stacks. Here's a few more pictures I took today after I rolled it out today.

I really like how this is looking man.. you going to put some wide rear fenders on it too??

Here's some pictures I took today before I put the licenses so I could go for a ride.I haven't worked on it much in the last month because both my parents had to go into hospital. They both are doing fine now.So now its back to work on my truck.I sure do like the sound of the Cummins driving down the road.I used the original shifter for the Dodge transmission and I use the Throttle knob on the dash to cut the fuel off to the injector pump.I also use the original accelerator pedal.I will post some more pictures later.
