i use a plasma cutter, i use a piece of angle iron set up as a guide, and it works perfect. very little grinding.mainly just to remove the cutting slag off the inside
 
more progress, got the drag link bar made, rear end tacked in for display, and rolling

cut access holes in the frame to get to the nuts and cotter pins for the tie rod ends, on the wish bones. welded some tabs i drilled and tapped to hold a flush mount cover on, used some allen machine screws.

mounted the head lights the other day too

got back on this car last week, got the 4 link and air ride set up in the rear. nothing to exciting lol but progress is progress.

then rolled it out side to sweep up a bit

made some good progress on it today, installed the passenger cowl panel i made, removed the wood track on the roof, made roof bows out of 1x1 that are arced like the originals, made a roof skin if he wants to go that route, i want to put 1000-1500 louvers in it so we will see, also made the hood. here are some pics

finished up the rear of the roof structure, fabbed and installed the driver side lower cowl panel, then rolled it out side in between rain showers to get a good look of it with the hood
