Took a snowy drive down south a little way to pick up my latest project.
This was rodded in the late 60's and then shedded in the early 70's where it sat until today.
Engine/trans and steering column I'm told from a 63 Belair,F1 front end and a 60's 9" rear.

Funny thing about " Traditional " was talking to a fellow i was buying parts from he had a 1934 rod that he got in the 50's , had a flat head in it he pulled it and install a sbc , we seem to have come full circle , again nice car

I think anyone who had access to an sbc in the 50s might have done the same thing. A stock 283 would put the hurt on a well built flathead.
