He probably got sucked hard at the shop for more then $30K on the restoration. One of the shops I freaquent is doing a total ground up on a 47 Ford coupe, and so far the owner has doled out more then $20K on this build.
It just arrived over at my partners' shop for the electrical and interior work. I will be doing the electrical on the build. It isn't cheap if you have others do the work for your dream rides. And he is probably wanting the $60K plus as well.
