I just join the group due to purchasing a 1951 F1 w/93K on the clock. Just buzzing through the post reviewing all the good details. The Fat51 has the flathead V8 and I'm planning to keep it that way. I put the 6V battery in and the motor does roll over but I want to go through all the pumps, wiring, etc. I'm looking for someone in MI or near MI that can point me in a good direction in reworking the old pistons....Thanks
