flimsy aluminum radiator

What is the best way to attach an electric fan to an aluminum radiator?
The pull thru snap ties that came with the fan are destroying the aluminum
which is about as sturdy as tissue paper. Thanks

Earthdude,
I use these brackets that are screwed into the sides of the frame. I'm outta town but will try & find the source when I get home if u're interested. I never like to pass anything through the radiator.

I had the same problem with my 66 Mustang, and no way was I going to bolt my electric fan through my new aluminum radiator. So I cut a piece of aluminum plate the same size as my radiator and cut a circle in the centre the same size as my fan and bolted to the radiator and mounted the relays and thermo switch to the plate………..simple.

Excellant Blackstang!!! Mustang radiator is what i have on the Model A.
