Ford F100 Axel Set Up

Does anyone have any pictures of a Ford F100 type straight axel being used on a rod? I want to go to a single leaf out in front of the radiator on my model A. I know this is not the conventional route, but I am trying to work with the parts I have, you know, low buck. I need to see how to mount a spring and how to attach the bones. Any help or suggestions would be great.

I dont know if this will help you or not but here a couple of pics of how I did mine thought its a 50 Chevy axle the basic should be close to the same on a Ford axle. May give you a few ideas.

Ratcrazy, thanks for the link, that does give me some ideas. I have seen this done before, but never have a camera handy to get some pics.
