Fuel Cell Safety Foam.?

Any opinions on this stuff.. i know that ultimatly i should splice my tank and
weld in some baffels.. are these worth trying?

my gas tank is a 15g VP Race Fuel Barrel

I took it out of my rock crawler tank. It breaks down over time and plugs up fuel lines and filters. As far as a baffle, it does work for that, but plan on changing it out in time.

Under normal driving you don't need any baffles or foam, all of the new gas tanks in cars today only have a baffle around the in-tank pump area, I still remember the chevys of the 70's and 80's that had a wondering gas guage, you would have a 1/4 tank going up hills and empty on flat ground.
