any good ideas as to where and how to put up fuse panels? other than tucking them underneath the dash. Recently, in rod and custom a guy built a wooden box to stash it in. Just seeing if anyone did anything similar.
 
I vote for wood :) Could be old weathered or clear coated cedar or oak.
Door on the front with brass fittings and a unique knob.What could be better :cool:
 
i love brass and the screws for my gauges are brass. will look into something like that. thanks
 
Here's what I did in my Anglia. I bought one of those old firewall heaters, restored the shell, and gutted the inside. I hid my fuse panel inside it. In the first photo you can see that I built a stand-off and welded it to the inside of the firewall. I was mounting the fuse panel to it in that photo. That way, no hardware at all shows on the engine side of the firewall.
