Has any body ever done a hybrid Rat Rod?

My interest is primarily to not over heat in the line up to get into the MSRA show.

I have a 12 volt Fork lift motor.

I see fuel prices just killing this hobby, would like to do some leading edge technology in ol skool format.

Looking for awesome visual thats external or like a add on fifth wheel or trailer.

Something modular that could be removed.

My fantasy is to canibalize a manure spreader for the project

One of the best electricmotors to use is the starter motor for whatever the pre-Vietnam jet trainer was with a manual trans. My dad built a hybrid back in 91 and used it, the car can go 50 up a hill on the electric engine
