I have a 1934 chevy, stock the headlights have a bar that connects between the grill and front fenders. It's a rat, so fenders are not on, the headlights have no outter support and wobble. So my thought was to give it a cross bar in front of the grill, but that seems like a ford thing. I could just as easily bolt the bars to the frame, but I don't want to leave these holes open on the grill.

My next idea was to take the bars off and reinforce the plate behind the side walls on the grill, and just bolt the lights on the sides of the grill.

Some feedback would really help.

Im not using original lights, but I mounted them to the shell but it does have the inner supports.

thanks

This looks almost like what I figured I'd do, just I used a green for the grill itself. I guess I have to reinforce the plate behind it. I'll work on that today.
Thanks.
