Help finding the VIN #

I have a supposedly 1946 IHC pickup. the tag on the kick plate says it is a K 3.Where is the actual VIN number located on the truck cab that matches the VIN # that is on the title. The truck came from KS and has to be inspected by tag agent in OK before I can get a title. I cannot find where the # is to show the tag guy. Please help if ya can. thanks.

It should be on the same plate where you found the model number...on the inside of the drivers kick panel, it will be only a serial number 7 digits long.

Chassis #? Is there one on the frame somewhere also?

You only have a serial number... vin numbers came about in 1969. The chassis number is the serial number in most states....
