Hello everyone, I have been enjoying reading here on this forum for a while and decided to join up and ask some questions. I plan on starting my project soon building the engine first, I have never built a flathead, plenty of SBC and SBF engines. I've wanted to build a rat rod for quite awhile, hopefully with you guys helping me along the way I can save time and $

Hi Gunz and welcome to RRR from northern Alberta.
The only tip I can think of on rebuilding a flathead is get yourself adjustable valve lifters and save a lot of headaches.
Flatheads make very nice hotrod motors.
