Hi, first attempt at a build. 49 Ford F-1. 4" chop, channeled 6", custom frame, air ride with 4 2600lb bags. Finding it chalenging to say the least. Looking forward to meeting other car folks, looking for help along the way. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eeY9neyjNJE. This is a link to the build so far.

Thanks,

Joe Z

Welcome to RRR, looks like you have a decent start on the rat!
What are your plans for bags in the front, and is there a reason the rear frame looks like its run with the rectangular tubing sideways rather than on end?

Hi Rich, I'm not sure what I'm doing up front yet, thinking of splitting the axle and conecting the bags with cantaliver arms...And the frame is turned flat in order to keep the bed hight lower.

Thanks,
Joe

Pops, Nice to be here. Hoping to meet some cool people, and get some cool advice. I really like your build, and I'm looking forward to seeing how your front end comes out, and handles... That is my next obstacle.

Thanks,

Joe Z

p.s. I love the cutter!

Hi Kenny, Thanks. Your truck looks cool. I got the cab after the first builder crashed it 2 weeks after being on the road. The top was chopped 4" and channeled 6" already. Made the start a lot easier. Keep posting your progress. I'm shooting for the summer nationals in Conn. at Thompson Speedway.
